Firefox Extensions For EeePC

Here is a list of helpful Firefox extensions and settings to get the best when viewing in the 1024x600 resolution on my Asus EeePC 1000.

Extensions/Themes

• Classic Compact Theme
• Classic Compact Options Extension
• Tiny Menu Extension

Settings

• Turn Off bookmarks toolbar
• Optionally turn off the statusbar
• Keep it maximized to full screen
• Choose the smallest font size you can bare (get use to using the Ctrl++ and Ctrl+- key shortcuts to increase and decrease the fontsize)
• Notice I keep my main Gnome panels small and on the left side of the screen
